Every fee, including the zeros
How it works
Custody: your own wallet holds every share, with no wrapper token and no pooled fund. Management is a permission you grant at deposit and can revoke instantly; every move it makes is a public transaction, price-checked on-chain.
Fee basis: your own cost, per wallet, on-chain — the 10% applies only above it, never to principal, never twice on the same gain.
Venue spread: priced into every quote you approve — paid to the market, not to Aibora.
Every buy, the whole basket: the $100 minimum is set so the smallest weight is still worth buying, so every holder owns all 12 names at the published weights whatever they put in and trading costs stay a small share.
Rebalancing: no automatic rebalancing yet — the basket holds exactly what you bought.
How this basket is built
Every name passes the AAOIFI sector screen (no banks, insurance, gambling, alcohol, weapons, adult content) and the ratio screens on debt, interest-bearing assets, and impure income. We publish every exclusion and its reason, and the screen re-runs quarterly. Screened by us and shown openly — certification is in progress, and until it lands we will not use the word.
Screen. AAOIFI sector screen (no banks, insurance, gambling, alcohol, weapons, adult content), then ratio screens: interest-bearing debt under 33% of market cap, interest-bearing securities under 33%, impure income under 5%. Screened, not certified.
Weighting. Market-cap informed with a 20% single-name cap; excess redistributes down the list.
Rebalancing. None automatic today: your basket holds exactly what you bought until you change it. The screen re-runs quarterly, and when a screen drops a name we publish it here rather than moving your holdings for you. A per-holding impure-income estimate is published so holders can purify that sliver.
